Seriaval of the fittest!

My friend Jacob and I have fished this one area of the provo river outlet about ten times or so. It's not the greatest spot of all time but its close and you catch fish, not big ones but you catch. I tend to want to go there more than he does due to ease. It gets crowded but once again its close to home and you can fish from the shore or boat. There have been a hand full of time when we are catching "back to back"(killer fishing term) fish when everyone around us is not. that adds to the fun. What it comes down to is what rig(lure) you are rocking. So for the past two months Jacob has been telling me the Rooster tail is the best white bass lure I on the other hand know its the Vibrax. Up until now its been about even. Last wed hit the same spot on a friends boat. Ten casts into it Jacob had caught 2 missed a few and as for me not even a hit. I promptly put on the rooster tail and boom fish on! I still think the Vibrax is a good lure but when you are fishing the provo river outlet its all about the rooster tail.

Nice call Jacob.
